Here at TrūAura, we’ve always prided ourselves on being a clean beauty brand, but the picture is bigger than that — We went the extra step and put our skincare to the test through an independent, 8-week set of clinical trials and we’re excited to share them with you.
How Were These Trials Conducted?
We love the scientific method! Here’s a little insight into how it worked:
The third-party testing facility conducting the clinical trials is completely independent. This helps remove bias in the results of the trials.
The people selected to be part of the trial aka our study participants were a diverse group of women ranging in age, skin tones, and types! 37 women were part of this rigorous 8-week study (that’s 2 whole months!)
Study participants had NO clue what the brand was, how much it costs, or what the packaging looked like. These are all factors that can actually bias the way that people feel about the products.
Study participants didn’t know why the trials were being conducted! This further helps remove any bias during the timeframe of the study.
