TrūAura goes Beyond Clean: Our Commitment to Sustainability

We Believe in Doing Better

Every aspect of our product development has been considered to go beyond clean, so that we can make choices that help with long term health of people and the planet. Sustainability is a complex topic, and one that is continuing to evolve over time, so we believe in continuing to work hard and do the best we can according to the best practices, standards, knowledge and information that is available to the industry today.

That all being said, what are we doing with regards to responsibility and sustainability?

Cruelty-Free

We believe in fair and ethical treatment of animals and have officially gone through the process to use the PETA Cruelty-Free seal on our products. The use of the seal requires agreement that no animal testing has been done at any stage of product development, and covers raw ingredients, ingredient suppliers, formulations, and finished products. You can even look us up in PETA’s official Beauty Without Bunnies directory here.

FSC Certified Packaging

The Forest Steward Commission (FSC) is currently recognized as the leading industry standard designation for wood harvested from forests that are responsibly managed, socially beneficial, environmentally conscious, and economically viable. Wood is important as it’s used to make packaging, such as the cartons for our skincare!

You’ll find the FSC Mix Certification label on most of our paper-based packaging. This means that any package bearing the seal is made by sourcing materials from FSC-certified forests, recycling and/or controlled sources and is following FSC-defined best practice throughout the production process and supply chain.

Made in the USA

Last but obviously not least, we’re so proud to include the Made in the USA designation on several of our products.

When you see this on our packaging… it means all of our formulations are currently completed in the USA and produced in manufacturing facilities within the USA.
